About Us

Our Journey into BASE

Exile was created because we believed the sport could evolve through better equipment. We wanted gear that would allow us to push the boundaries of BASE farther, with more confidence, more control, and the greatest margin for safety possible.

Our development began in 2018 with the first Gryphus prototypes. What followed was not a simple product cycle. It was five years of obsession, problem solving, refinement, and relentless testing. Prototype after prototype was built, jumped, questioned, torn apart, rebuilt, and tested again across thousands of actual BASE jumps.

Cliffs, bridges, terminal walls, technical exits, imperfect conditions, and many hard lessons shaped the canopy into something more than an idea. It became equipment we trusted with our own lives, our friends with theirs, and now hundreds of BASE jumpers around the world.

Every Exile canopy is designed in the USA and built in a high-end parachute/paraglider manufacturing facility using premium materials, precision laser cutting, and skilled sewing by experienced parachute technicians. Every detail is treated with the seriousness it deserves, because this is not just equipment. It is life-critical gear.

Each canopy is inspected throughout production, with final inspection completed in Montana, USA before shipment.

We are not here to copy what already exists. We are here to build equipment shaped by real BASE jumpers, real experience, and the belief that better gear can help move the sport forward.

Welcome to Exile.
