Exile Inc Demo Canopy Application and Agreement

For purposes of this agreement, “Exile” means Exile Inc., a Montana corporation, USA, including its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, instructors, representatives, affiliates, agents, successors, and assigns.

Demo Terms

Demo fee: $150
The demo fee covers shipping within the continental United States, insurance while in transit, and inspection after use. The demo fee is non-refundable once the canopy has shipped, but may be credited toward a new Exile canopy purchase within 30 days.

Refundable security deposit: $1,000
Demo window: 14 calendar days from delivery
Late fee: $20/day after the return deadline

All demo requests are reviewed manually. Approval is not guaranteed. Exile may approve or deny any demo request at its sole discretion.

Demo Agreement

By submitting this application, I request to demo an Exile canopy. I understand that approval is not guaranteed.

I understand that the demo canopy remains the property of Exile at all times.

I agree to pay a $150 demo fee and a $1,000 refundable security deposit before the canopy is shipped.

I understand that the demo fee covers shipping within the continental United States, insurance while in transit, and inspection after use. I understand that the demo fee is non-refundable once the canopy has shipped, but may be credited toward a new Exile canopy purchase within 30 days.

I understand that the demo period is 14 calendar days from delivery. I agree to return the canopy by the required return date unless Exile approves an extension in writing.

I accept full responsibility for the canopy and all included components from the time it is delivered until it is returned to and inspected by Exile.

I am responsible for any loss, theft, any damages, missing components, unauthorized repair, unauthorized modification, or late return.

I authorize Exile to retain part or all of the $1,000 security deposit for damage, loss, late return, missing parts, cleaning, inspection, repair, or replacement costs.

I understand I may be responsible for costs exceeding $1,000 if the canopy is lost, stolen, destroyed, or damaged beyond the security deposit amount.

I agree not to loan, rent, sell, transfer, modify, repair, relabel, or allow another person to use or jump the demo canopy without written approval from Exile.

Risk Waiver

I understand that BASE jumping and skydiving are dangerous activities that can result in serious injury or death. No equipment can eliminate these risks.

I accept full responsibility for my own gear inspection, packing, object selection, exit procedures, weather assessment, jumping decisions, canopy control, landing area assessment, and use of the demo canopy.

I understand that demo approval does not mean Exile has approved my skill level, judgment, packing, object choice, aircraft choice, weather conditions, landing area, or any specific jump.

I understand that Exile does not control the conditions, locations, packing, rigging, judgment, or decisions involved in my use of the demo canopy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Exile Inc., a Montana corporation, USA, including its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, instructors, representatives, affiliates, agents, successors, and assigns, from any claims, injuries, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or related to my use of the demo canopy or participation in BASE jumping, skydiving, or related activities.

Final Agreement

By signing below, I confirm that all information provided in this application is true and accurate. I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the Exile Demo Terms, Demo Agreement, Risk Waiver, and all terms contained in this application. I authorize Exile to contact my listed references. I understand that submitting this application does not guarantee approval. I understand that the demo canopy remains the property of Exile Inc. at all times. I accept full responsibility for the demo canopy from delivery until it is returned to and inspected by Exile Inc.
